REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND NOTICE OF PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE
NOTICE is hereby given that Proposals are requested for Food Service Management and will be received, publicly opened and immediately read thereafter by the Morgan Local School District Board of Education through Greg Moore, Facilities Manager at the Morgan Local School District, in McConnelsville, Ohio, on June 2, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. in the Conference Room, 65 W. Union St., McConnelsville, OH 43756.
Copies of the Request for Proposals will be available at the Morgan Local School District offices, 65 W. Union St., McConnelsville, OH 43756, beginning on April 29, 2022, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding legal holidays and via email to email@example.com.
A pre-proposal conference with interested proposers to review the specifications, to clarify any questions, and for a walk-through of the facilities with school officials will be held on May 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Morgan Local School District offices, 65 W. Union St., McConnelsville, OH 43756. Attendance is required.
Proposals must be submitted in sealed packages. The sealed packages shall be delivered between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, to the Superintendent’s Office of Morgan Local School District Office, 65 W. Union St., McConnelsville, OH 43756. The sealed packages shall bear the name and address of the proposer and shall be marked "Food Services Management Proposal." The original and three (3) copies of each proposal should be submitted.
All proposals MUST be submitted and time-stamped by the Superintendent’s Office no later 12:00 p.m. on June 2, 2022. Proposals will not be accepted after this time. The Morgan Local School District Board of Education will not be liable for any proposals lost in the mail or misdirected by any party.
Evaluation of proposals is expected to begin on June 3, 2022 and be completed by June 10, 2022 Negotiations with Food Services Management Companies will begin following evaluation. A presentation by the two highest scoring proposals will be required to evaluate value added to the district. The presentation will be valued up to 10 additional points added to the proposal score, with the highest score given the award. The projected award date for the contract is June 20, 2022. These dates are subject to change based upon the number and nature of received proposals, ISS approval process, and any unforeseen factors.
The Morgan Local School District Board of Education reserves the right to reject all proposals or to waive informality if such would be in the best interests of the Board of Education.
